The nickname started as a joke and stuck — probably because it's the honest mix of the two things that pull me: making pictures, and a curiosity that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Based in Irvine, California. What began as grabbing a camera to document my own life has turned into portraits, product shoots, graduations, sports, and the in-between moments on streets I've never walked before. I care most about the frames that feel specifically true — the half-smile, the catch in the shoulders, the light falling sideways through a doorway. If a photograph can't be reproduced, it's worth showing up for.

I shoot primarily on Fujifilm and Nikon systems, mostly in natural light, and I'm always open to new work — especially the kind that lets me wander somewhere I haven't been.
